Presenter:
Gina Riedel is a business coach, trainer, and speaker with more than 20 years of business experience in both the profit and non-profit sectors. Gina is passionate about building and growing businesses by empowering employees to become the best version of themselves. She generates enthusiasm and encourages innovative solutions while working collaboratively with organizations to get results.
Gina has managed a broad array of projects in various industries ranging from financial services and health care to agricultural operations to telecommunication companies, as well as service and retail organizations. Projects include:
- Recruiting and hiring
- Facilitating staff and board retreats
- Strategic planning including succession plans
- Coaching executives, supervisors, and managers
- Conducting human resource audits and developing best practices
- Training in organizations at every level including emotional intelligence, customer care, and loyalty, team building, conflict resolution, sales, accountability, effective communication, management, and leadership
Gina’s background from growing up in the rodeo arena to her work experience and commitment to lifelong learning gives her a wide range of skills. She completed the Kansas Community Leadership Initiative, through the Kansas Health Foundation, is a graduate of the Institute for Organizational Development from the American Chamber of Commerce, completed the Dale Carnegie Course, and received her bachelor’s degree in Communications from Fort Hays State University. Gina led the Hays Area Chamber of Commerce for nine years and was instrumental in starting the Heartland Community Foundation, Hays Area Young Professionals, and bringing the community together to build the Bickle-Schmidt Sports Complex. More recently, Gina graduated from Leadership Kansas in 2018, and currently serves as the Chair of the Board for Grow Hays (Ellis County economic development) and serves on the board of the Heartland Community Foundation. She is also certified in Everything DiSC and The Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team and is currently studying for her human resource certification.
On a personal level, Gina and her husband Terry live on the 5th generation Riedel farm. They have four children – Parker 23, Layton 20, Kinsey 18, and Jarret 15. Gina’s hobbies include almost anything outdoors – farm stuff, horses, cows, and dogs. She loves snow skiing, team roping, barrel racing, golfing, reading, and working. In her other spare time, she enjoys gatherings with family and friends.
