JENNIFER THOMPSON,
Director of Business Development, Valley Hope of Norton
Jennifer Thompson has been with Valley Hope for 4 years. She works to educate individuals, organizations, businesses and the public about substance use disorder, resources for those who struggle with substance use disorder and to help break the stigma of the disease. Jennifer is a graduate of Fort Hays State University and has a Master of Public Administration from Park University in Parkville, MO.
She will be sharing information on the following:
- Signs and symptoms of substance abuse disorder
- Progression of the illness
- Treatment options
- Impact of this disease on employers
- How to assist employees who may have a substance use disorder
