Scott Mayfield of Mayfield Carrier Services, LLC assists carriers with USDOT Transportation needs. Scott helps motor carriers understand the regulations and assists customers with programs and training to stay in compliance. Scott was a Kansas State Trooper for over 27 years, with most of his career dedicated to transportation. He has conducted compliance investigations, instructed law enforcement on the procedures for truck inspections, instructed investigators on enhanced techniques to not only discover violations, but also on ways to assist the company on finding process breakdowns and remedies. Since retiring from the Patrol in December of 2016, Scott has assisted several hundred customers with assistance navigating the regulations related to transportation.
