A Message from the President

    On behalf of the Board of Directors of Society for Human Resources Management of SouthWest Kansas, we welcome you to our website. We are an affiliate of SHRM - the Society for Human Resource Management which is the world’s largest association devoted to human resource management.

    Society for Human Resources Management of SouthWest Kansas (SHRM of SWKS) became an affiliated chapter of the Society for Human Resources Management on April 14, 2011. SHRM of SWKS formed in Garden City to serve small business owners, human resource professionals and anyone else who deals with human resource issues in South West Kansas.

    As the Chapter President, I am here to serve and benefit you and your company; I would like to extend a personal invitation for you to attend our meetings.

    Chapter meetings are held the second Thursday of each month from 11:30 a.m. - 01:00 p.m.  The meetings are held at the Wheatland Electric Cooperative, Inc.  2005 W. Fulton Street Garden City, KS 67871 at  unless otherwise indicated meeting details listed in the events section.
