    Our Chapter

SHRM of SWKS formed in Garden City to serve small business owners, human resource professionals and anyone else who deals with human resource issues in South West Kansas. We became an affiliate of Society for Human Resources Management on April 14, 2011. We also hold the honor of becoming the first Dual Member Release (DMR) Chapter in KS as of April 8, 2024.

    Our Mission

To provide opportunities for professional growth through shared knowledge and networking.  We serve the businesses, communities and HR professionals in Southwest Kansas.

    Our Vision

Empowering our members and communities by advancing Human Resources best practices.

    Chapter Meetings

We also sponsor area seminars on human resource-related issues.

(Located on the north side of Spruce Street between Campus Dr & JC Street.)
